Pranos HoloGlass is an innovative aftermarket display system that transforms your vehicle’s rear side window into a Full HD outward-facing screen. To help ensure safe, legal, and responsible use, please review the following compliance guidelines:

1. Recommended Use

Pranos recommends using the HoloGlass system in parked or stationary vehicles to promote safety and legal compliance. While the system can function while in motion, laws regulating outward-facing digital displays vary significantly by city and state.

You are responsible for confirming the rules in your area before using the system while driving.

2. Visibility and Safety

While in use, the HoloGlass screen module replaces your vehicle’s rear side window with an opaque surface. Many vehicles maintain legal rear visibility using side mirrors or a rearview camera; however, this does not guarantee legal compliance in all jurisdictions.

It is your responsibility to ensure that operation of the system complies with local, state, and federal laws, including those related to window obstructions and rear visibility.

3. Display Content Responsibility

The HoloGlass system operates entirely offline, like a television or projector. The Pranos app acts as a remote control, allowing users to upload and control content via Bluetooth—no internet access, USB drives, or cloud services are required.

Pranos does not host, monitor, or control any content shown on the display. This means:

  • You are solely responsible for any content shown on your screen.

  • Inappropriate, unlawful, or misleading content should never be displayed in public.

  • You must ensure content complies with all relevant laws and ordinances where the system is used.

4. Local Law Compliance

Outward-facing digital displays may be restricted or prohibited by traffic, advertising, or public safety laws in your area. In addition, some states have specific rules about rear window visibility or window coverings.

Does Pranos control what is displayed?

No. HoloGlass operates locally like a projector or television. Pranos does not host, monitor, or approve the content customers choose to display.

Is the screen transparent?

No. The current HoloGlass screen is opaque for a brighter projected image. Remove it when you are not using the display or when visibility rules require a clear window.
