The $70 Wireless App Control upgrade is a one-time add-on with no monthly fee. If you ordered Wired HDMI, you do not need the app. Connect your compatible phone, tablet, or laptop through HDMI instead.

Do I need the app for Wired HDMI?
No. Wired HDMI mirrors a compatible phone, tablet, or laptop through the included cable and adapter. The Pranos app is for the optional media player.
Can I use projector apps instead?
Depending on your projector setup, built-in streaming apps may also be available. The Pranos app is designed for uploading and controlling your own files through the media player.
