Choosing the Right Window for Your Pranos Hologlass System

Rear Side Door Window:
✅ Recommended for most sedans, SUVs, and crossovers. *The Pranos system still works well, even if your windows are tinted — the projection remains clear and visible.

This is our most versatile and widely compatible option. The system can be mounted on the ceiling (for vehicles with a glass roof) or on an opposite side window inside the car.

• Works well across a wide range of vehicle types

• A great choice if your back windshield is heavily sloped or if your vehicle doesn’t have a sunroof

Back Windshield:
✅ Recommended mainly for SUVs and vehicles with more vertical (less sloped) rear windows
❌ Not recommended for most sedans, as steeply angled back windshields can distort the image

SUVs often have flatter rear windows, which help the projection appear clearer and less distorted.

• The system can be mounted using a headrest attachment or a ceiling mount

• Ceiling mount requires a sunroof or glass roof panel

If you’re unsure, we recommend choosing the rear side door option for the best results.

Front Windshield:
⚠️ Suitable only for SUVs with a glass sunroof or roof panel for mounting

Because the screens are fully opaque, this setup is best for stationary use—like events or parked displays.

• Mounting requires a glass sunroof or roof panel for secure ceiling attachment

• Not recommended for driving use due to opacity blocking driver’s view

Pranos Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase, access, and use of the Pranos Hologlass Kit, associated software, documentation, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Pranos Inc. (“Pranos,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By placing an order, creating an account, installing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. This is a legally binding agreement. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Orders

Full payment—including applicable taxes, duties, and shipping charges—is required at the time of purchase.

Pranos may reject or cancel orders at its sole discretion, including for suspected fraud, typographical errors, pricing mistakes, or product unavailability.

3. Payments, Shipping & Handling

3.1 Payments
All payments will be processed via ACH, debit, or credit card. You must keep your payment method current.

3.2 Title and Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss transfer to you upon successful delivery.

3.3 Shipping and Handling
Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Carrier selection is at Pranos’s discretion. Delivery times are estimates only and may be delayed by carriers, customs, or events outside Pranos’s control.

3.4 International Duties
International orders may be subject to duties, VAT, or customs fees. You are solely responsible for paying these charges.

4. Refunds, Cancellations, and Returns

4.1 Return Policy
You may return your Kit within 15 days of delivery for a refund, minus shipping and a $75 restocking fee.

Because each screen module is custom-cut, all returns incur the restocking fee regardless of condition.

4.2 Return Condition
Returned Kits must include all original components, packaging, and documentation. Kits that are damaged, incomplete, altered, or show signs of misuse may be denied a refund.

4.3 Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If unavailable, your financial institution will determine alternative handling.

4.4 Non-Returnable Items
Consumables, adhesives, customized parts, and items labeled as “final sale” are not eligible for return.

5. User Responsibility and Safe Usage

5.1 Installation & Operator Responsibility
The Kit is sold as consumer-installed hardware. Pranos does not install, supervise, approve, or monitor installation under any circumstances. You assume full responsibility for installation, removal, reinstallation, and all related vehicle impacts, including damage to glass, trim, upholstery, wiring, or electronics. Improper or unsafe installation voids all warranties and releases Pranos from any liability.

5.2 Use While Driving
The Kit is not intended for driver-visible playback and does not replace required mirrors, cameras, or safety systems. Use of the Kit while driving may be regulated by local law. Static images, text, or banners may be permissible in some jurisdictions, but full-motion video may be restricted to parked or off-road use. Pranos does not guarantee legality of use in any jurisdiction, and you are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all laws where you operate the Kit.

5.3 Visibility Disclaimer
The Kit may reduce rear or side visibility depending on installation. You assume all responsibility for visibility impacts, and any accidents, citations, or penalties arising from visibility reduction.

5.4 Enforcement Discretion
You acknowledge that local law enforcement officers and regulators may apply broad “safety,” “equipment,” or “obstruction” statutes at their discretion, even if no specific statute prohibits the use of the Kit. Pranos disclaims any liability for citations, penalties, or enforcement actions taken against you.

5.5 Commercial, Political, and Advertising Use
If you use the Kit for commercial advertising, political messaging, fleet or rental vehicles, you are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining all required permits, licenses, and insurance.

• Complying with zoning, billboard, signage, electioneering, and transportation laws.

• Ensuring disclosures are made where legally required.

Pranos makes no representation that the Kit may lawfully be used for advertising or political expression in any jurisdiction. Unauthorized commercial use voids all warranties.

5.6 Sensitive Environments
You may not use the Kit in restricted or high-risk environments including but not limited to schools, hospitals, airports, tunnels, bridges, military bases, or government facilities where additional safety or decency standards apply.

5.7 Not a Safety Device
The Kit is not a safety, emergency, or driver-assistance device and must not be used or relied upon for emergency signaling, vehicle operation, or driver awareness. The Kit is intended solely as a consumer display product. You accept full responsibility for ensuring that operation of the Kit does not interfere with any required safety features of your vehicle.

5.8 Health and Safety Risks
The Kit may emit light and images that can trigger photosensitive epilepsy, vertigo, or related health conditions. You must avoid projecting flashing, strobing, or high-intensity content that may cause seizures or health reactions in viewers. The Kit is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition.

6. Third-Party Claims and Allocation of Risk

6.1 Operation Claims
Pranos is not responsible for third-party claims arising from use of the Kit, including alleged distraction, nuisance, or unsafe operation.

6.2 Indemnification (Operation)
You agree to indemnify and hold Pranos harmless from claims, liabilities, or damages related to your use, installation, or operation of the Kit.

6.3 Installer Liability
If you hire a third-party installer, that installer is independent and unaffiliated with Pranos. You indemnify Pranos against claims arising from their work.

7. Content and Broadcasting

7.1 Content Responsibility
Pranos does not host, transmit, or control content displayed through the Kit. All content is loaded and controlled locally by you.

7.2 Prohibited Content
You may not display content that:

• Infringes copyright, trademarks, or intellectual property.

• Is pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit.

• Is violent, hateful, threatening, or incites unlawful action.

• Contains strobe or flashing visuals that may trigger seizures.

• Invades privacy, harasses individuals, or creates nuisance.

• Constitutes unauthorized advertising, political messaging, or electioneering without required permits.

7.3 Indemnification (Content)
You agree to indemnify and hold Pranos harmless from claims related to your content, including IP infringement, defamation, nuisance, or regulatory violations.

8. Software and License

Pranos grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use its software with the Kit. Reverse engineering, modification, sublicensing, or use to create competing products is prohibited.

Pranos may release updates that change features or functionality. You agree that Pranos has no obligation to support legacy versions of its software.

9. Warranty

9.1 Limited Warranty (1 Year)
Pranos warrants against manufacturing defects for one year. Remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or refund.

9.2 Exclusions
Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, accidents, environmental conditions, or commercial use without written consent.

9.3 Disclaimer
No other warranties apply, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9.4 Warranty Claims
Customers are responsible for shipping costs to Pranos for warranty evaluation. If a claim is valid, Pranos will cover return shipping of the repaired or replaced unit.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pranos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or special damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenues, business interruption, loss of goodwill, advertising losses, regulatory fines, or government enforcement actions, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Pranos’s aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Kit or Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Kit in the six (6) months immediately preceding the claim. Multiple claims shall not expand this limit.

11. Health and Safety Warnings

• Do not display flashing or strobe content that may trigger seizures or photosensitive conditions.

• The Kit is not a substitute for required mirrors, cameras, or safety equipment.

• Do not rely on the Kit for emergency signaling.

• Keep out of reach of children. The Kit contains adhesives, cables, and small components that may pose choking or suffocation risks.

• Avoid use in extreme temperatures, moisture, or environments outside the specifications provided.

12. Privacy and Data

Pranos collects minimal personal data (name, email) per its Privacy Policy. The Kit operates locally; Pranos does not track or monitor usage or content. Accounts may be deleted by contacting support.

13. Compliance and Export

13.1 Compliance with Local Laws
You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws relating to:

• Vehicle operation, safety, and equipment standards.

• Public decency, disturbing the peace, and nuisance laws.

• Advertising, electioneering, and billboard or signage regulations.

• Noise, light pollution, or environmental ordinances.

• Data, privacy, and right-of-publicity protections.

Pranos makes no guarantee that the Kit is legal for use in all jurisdictions, and expressly disclaims responsibility for your compliance with these laws.

13.2 Permits and Authorizations
If your intended use involves advertising, political, or commercial content, you are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all permits, licenses, insurance, and regulatory approvals required under applicable law.

13.3 Export Control
You may not export, re-export, or use the Kit in violation of U.S. export control laws or sanctions, including those administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), or any other applicable authority. The Kit may not be exported to embargoed countries or to anyone on restricted party lists.

13.4 No Government Endorsement
Use of the Kit does not imply approval or authorization by any government agency, law enforcement body, or regulatory authority. You agree not to represent or suggest that Pranos or its products are certified, endorsed, or approved by any regulatory body except where Pranos expressly provides such certification in writing.

13.5 Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and accept that enforcement practices vary by jurisdiction and that officers, regulators, or municipalities may interpret or apply laws differently. You assume all legal risk associated with the use of the Kit, including fines, citations, seizure of equipment, or other enforcement action.

14. Suspension and Termination

Pranos may suspend or terminate Services if you violate these Terms or applicable laws. Provisions intended to survive termination (including indemnities and limitations of liability) remain in effect.

15. Force Majeure

Pranos is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control (supply chain issues, disasters, strikes, or regulatory actions).

16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

16.1 Informal Resolution
You must first contact support@pranos.ai with any dispute. We will attempt resolution within 30 days.

16.2 Binding Arbitration
Except for IP claims or injunctive relief, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under AAA Consumer Rules in San Francisco, CA.

16.3 Class Action Waiver
You waive participation in class or representative actions.

16.4 Opt-Out Right
You may opt out of arbitration and class waiver within 30 days of purchase by mailing written notice to:

16.5 Cooperation
If a claim involves both you and Pranos, you agree to reasonably cooperate in Pranos’s defense and not settle any claim that affects Pranos without consent.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California and U.S. federal law. Venue for any permitted court claims lies in San Francisco, CA.

18. Miscellaneous

• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without Pranos’s consent.

• Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remain enforceable.

• Entire Agreement: These Terms supersede all prior agreements regarding the Kit and Services.
